The challenge
Olympic boxing carries a perception linked to violence and marginalization. The challenge was to redefine its visual narrative to appeal to new audiences without losing its intensity.
Conceptual decision
Boxing is intelligent tension. It’s community before and after the fight. We decided to move away from traditional aggressive epics to build an identity based on emotional contrast: strategic calmness versus controlled explosion.

Graphic system
To create a strong identity, we decided to base it on the two basic elements of boxing: the red corner and the blue corner. Both colors generate the contrast between the tranquility needed to think and box, and the explosiveness and dynamism associated with the sport.
Typography
We decided to create lettering based on visual sports codes so that it would be easily recognizable and function as a logo.

Visual resources
We illustrated four key moments when entering the ring to represent the facets of the sport: the moment of walking to the ring with your team, the tension before the bell rings, the moment of action, and finally, the respect after the fight. We referenced Soviet sports graphic language for its iconic power and compositional clarity, reinterpreting it with a contemporary treatment and intense chromatic contrasts.
