The Witcher was going to be released on December 2019 in Spain and we participated in the pitch with several agencies. Two of our ideas were selected for Netflix’s communication campaign. Not only that, but they were replicated across Europe!
The Butcher’s shop
We decided to open Blaviken’s Butcher’s first butcher shop at the entrance of the Heroes Comic Con in Madrid, which took place a few days before the premiere. A wide variety of beast meat available for our customers, just so they know that this butcher will get the monster you commission, as long as evil resides within its entrails.
Not just for the fans
Due to the success of our butcher shop, we expanded the business and opened a second one in the San Ildefonso market in Madrid. Even Alex de la Iglesia seemed to like the idea!
4 years later, the Butcher shop is still part of their campaigns!
The medieval trailer
How did they share news in ancient times? With troupes of troubadours! Lucky for us, Geralt’s best friend, Jaskier, is one of them. So why not sing the trailer to announce his arrival?
